4 Things All Articles Must Have - Don’t Forget!

The 4 Things You Need to Have in Your Website Articles!

The importance of articles in today’s websites and internet based companies are immeasurable. Articles are a key factor in generating traffic to your site and ultimately are what will make it successful. It has become a key element in making a site work and earn a profit. If you are a web owner or site operator then the articles you use, will need to work with your topic and you need to have a strong inclination, on which to use and where to use them.

Articles have been known to be the driving force in generating traffic to a website. Getting better rankings on search engine pages is also done by your articles, often making them the determining factor in that regard. To get the best traffic, you will need to rank as high as you can, on the search engine listing. With a huge number in traffic flow, there are more profits and more potential for other income generating schemes as well.

It is not just about stuffing your site with articles, they have certain requirements as well. In order to get the most benefits from your articles, your site will need to have each of the requirements. Each article will need to be interesting to your customers and well written, so they will keep returning to your site for more. By enticing them in this way, they will be more willing to recommend your site to others.

Here are some tips to help you in making your articles.

1. Using Keywords or Keyword Phrases in your article.

The keywords and keyword phrases that you use should always focus around your article. People, will usually visit websites to either browse around, or they are looking for specific topics of interest to them. When this happens, a searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking for; e.g. Toyota Camry, Meningitis, Tax Lawyer and Etcetera, or it could be anything they want.

That is why it is imperative to have keywords in your article that are related to your site. For example, if you maintain an auto parts site, you must be able to have articles about cars and their parts. There are many tools on the internet that provides service in helping a webmaster out in determining, what keywords and keyword phrases are mostly sought out. These resources will help you determine the keywords to use in your article.

2. Keyword Density and Keyword Phrases

After you determine which keywords and keyword phrases you will be using, you will need to make sure to maximize their usage. Having effective keyword density is essential in order for a search engine to be aware of it.

You will need to have around 10% - 15% of keyword density to get the attention of search engines, before they will begin to move you up in ranking. Getting a high rank is what articles do best for a site.

Keyword density is the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase is used in article. Of course, the number of times you can use them, will depend on the size of the article. An effective article must have a keyword density that is not too high or too low. With a very high density, the essence of the article is lost and may turn off a reader, as well as the search engines, especially if it comes off as overeager.

A low number may be ignored by the search engines.

3. Good Articles

Having good content is another reason why keyword ’overkill’ is a bad idea. They must also be regarded as good reading materials. It is important to provide useful information on what people are researching, as well as, be interesting enough to keep their attention. Well written articles will be done in good grammar and with correctly spelled words. It is important for site visitors to feel they can trust what they are reading, so you need to make sure your work is well researched.

People respond well to figures, facts and statistics. Try to get great information and as many facts as you can. You should make it a goal to be an expert on your chosen topic and to portray that in your article. As more people believe in you, they will be able to trust you and your products.

4. Links within Your Article

If you are going to submit your article to ezines, or add your article to newsletters or other sites, it is crucial that you remember to ALWAYS include a link back to your webpage site.

It is a good idea to have a small information box with information on your site, placed toward the end of the articles that you have in submission. If people like your articles, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site.

I completely agree with you, good and proper article plays a huge role for any site. It is not easy to write a good article, so you need to spend a lot of time, but it is worth it.
